St. Johns County school enrollment surges another 4% this year

Ballooning St. Johns County schools added another 1,943 students this year for a grand total of 47,495, the district announced Friday.

The amounts to a 4.27% increase from the prior academic year.

“St. Johns County continues to be one of the fastest-growing school districts in the state,” the district said in a statement.

Here are the first day enrollment figures at St. Johns County schools.

HIGH SCHOOLS TOTAL: 16,169

  • Bartram Trail High School: 2,119
  • Beachside High School: 2,076
  • Creekside High School: 2,434
  • Pedro Menendez High School: 1,362
  • Allen D. Nease High School: 2098
  • Ponte Vedra High School: 1842
  • St. Augustine High School: 1,560
  • Tocoi Creek High School: 2,514
  • St. Johns Technical High School: 164

MIDDLE SCHOOLS TOTAL: 6,843

  • Sebastian Middle School: 652
  • Pacetti Bay Middle School: 1,417
  • Landrum Middle School: 906
  • Fruit Cove Middle School: 1,120
  • Murray Middle School: 678
  • Gamble Rogers Middle School: 819
  • Switzerland Point Middle School: 1,251

K-8 SCHOOLS TOTAL: 13,017

  • Liberty Pines Academy: 1,614
  • Patriot Oaks Academy: 1,356
  • Valley Ridge Academy: 1,095
  • Freedom Crossing Academy: 1,799
  • Palm Valley Academy: 1,324
  • Mill Creek Academy: 1816
  • Pine Island Academy: 1,806
  • Trout Creek Academy: 1,049
  • Lakeside Academy: 1,158

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS TOTAL: 11,081
